On Friday I went to the factory and they had my samples ready. I was really impressed. These girls work so neatly! So I placed my order and hopefully by next week Friday I will have my messenger bags. The week after that, my aprons and then I must put in my order for the flags. The Bead book's deadline for the flags is the 24 February. So those I must make myself.... and then to start decorating them!!! Whee!

My first apron
I wonder where my love for canvas started? Maybe it was the day I bought my hammock.
There are a very few things that can compete with a hammock and a small water fountain. After a stressful day, to relax in a hammock and listen to the sound of water, it total, total magic for the soul.
Well, I cleaned up my studio table and started cutting.
Cutting the patterns for the full aprons, the half aprons and the messenger bags.
I completed the aprons and I think they came out quite well.
My birthday gift last year was a girl named LiLly....
So I dressed her up in my first completed canvas apron, put her outside my studio and took a photo!
As you can see LiLly will come in very handy in my future projects, displaying anything from aprons to jewellery to tekkies and welcoming guests to my studio!
Yesterday I took the canvas to the factory, showed them the patterns
and now they will start making them!!!
I am SO excited!

Still on route, but may be not on track.
I need to tidy up my studio today!
I have sewn a few triangles and did a lot of research on canvas. Made a few bags, and pondered around the place, but the tote bags and aprons are next. Then to start experimenting with the paint and techniques I want to use. That will be very exciting.
